Diseño de una manzana tipo para un distrito residencial evolutivo - ciudad Francisco de Orellana (Coca)

The proposal shows a Design of an Apple Type located in the neighborhood 6 de December of this city, generating an urban culture that cohesive the natural environment and the urban area, proposing to be efficient in terms of density and services concentration, looking after the culture, the surrounding and its biodiversity; with the objective of finding an urban and architectural solution to this territory. The copy of this prototype will generate a viable model that it has been defined as “Urban Maloca”. It has been consider different theories, concepts and strategies urban architectural like the Plan de Cerda in Barcelona (Spain), the urban model of Manhattan, the model of the Amazon Latin Americans cities, among others; compering the efficiency of these models, in order to take design decisions. The proposal generates an architectural identity, in which the jungle is recover, looks after the environment, it creates an ecological conscience and a culture syncretism. The living units, considering all mentioned so far, shows widen a flexible area according to the size of each familiar group, considering also, the surrounding characteristics to apply strategies of passive design. This proposal lay out for the Coca city, can be consider for regional level in the Amazon.
